Three Point Strategies, LLC (3PS) celebrated three years being in business this week. “We see it as a privilege to serve our clients,” said Ben Beakes, managing member. “Many of the clients that joined us in the beginning are still with us today. I am truly grateful for them as we work to create opportunities for the people of West Virginia.”
3PS is a West Virginia government affairs and public relations firm. Its mission is to serve its clients through advocacy and policy development that promotes a job-friendly environment and prosperity in West Virginia.
“Our goal is to put our clients in the best position possible to achieve successful outcomes,” Beakes said. “We do this through our three-point strategy – focusing not only on relationships but winning the issue and building a coalition of support as well.”
3PS clients had the following to say in celebration of its three-year anniversary:
Ben astutely navigates the intersection between policy and politics to provide real value for his clients. His professionalism, dependability, and dogged focus makes him a strong asset to our government affairs efforts in West Virginia.
– Rick Axthelm, Contura Energy
Ben Beakes is a consummate professional and brilliant strategist. His tireless commitment to his client’s best interest is invaluable. Since before our contract was even in place, Ben embraced our mission and hit the ground running to tackle our initiatives. His insight has been proven in the successes we have seen. We are fortunate to have Ben on our team to help advance health policy issues in the Mountain State.
–Christine Compton, American Heart Association
I took lead on public policy for our organization for the first 8 years of my career, and I always knew our advocacy needed to grow beyond me. However, it wasn’t until I met Ben that I believed that someone could advocate as professionally and passionately on behalf of child victims of abuse as I knew was necessary for our success at the legislature. Ben is an amazing partner in the work, and I am honored to get to work alongside him.
–Emily Chittenden-Laird, WV Child Advocacy Network
“Some have asked me what it takes to become one of the top lobbyists in West Virginia. My answer is always ‘producing meaningful results for your clients’,” Beakes said. “I want my clients to have confidence that we represent them at the capitol with the same zeal as if they were here themselves.”
In its third year 3PS hired Rebecca Guilliams and subsequently expanded its scope of services to include association management.
“From two clients to now having served 20, 3PS continues to grow. But in each stage of our growth we continue to deliver results for our clients,” Beakes said. “We will continue to push forward and do our part in helping West Virginia develop a brighter future for herself and her people.”
